Give the gift of inclusive play

All children deserve the right to play. We are building an accessible playground where all of our students can learn and grow side-by-side, not from the sidelines. And we need your help!

  • An Inclusive, Accessible Outdoor Play Space

With brand new playground equipment sponsored by a generous gift from the Foundation for Developmental Disabilities, our new playground will have something for everyone!

  • A Ground Cover for ALL

We are seeking gifts to sponsor 1,100 sq. ft of surfacing/ ground cover that is safe, accessible, and inclusive to ALL friends, no matter how they move through the world. Poured in place rubber surfacing is safe and accessible for wheels, knees, fingers and toes!

  • A Soft Start for our Littlest Friends

We are also seeking gifts to sponsor the soft ground cover needed to make our new baby room play yard soft and safe for our newest and littlest friends.

Every Gift Matched In Loving Memory of an Educator Who Paved the Way for His Students

Thanks to a generous gift in memory of Vincent (“Vinnie”) Trần Kim Oánh .....every dollar donated to our Pave the Way for All to Play campaign will be matched up to $25,000. Vincent’s life and work paved the way for children of all abilities.

Vincent (“Vinnie”) Trần Kim Oánh was a cherished father, grandfather, educator, and longtime Dorchester, MA resident. A former South Vietnamese army officer who courageously started over in the United States after the war, Vincent earned his degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and went on to serve Boston Public Schools as a devoted special education teacher for over 30 years.

Vincent believed deeply in the power of learning and the strength of community. He gave his heart to his students, his neighbors, and his parish. Vincent's legacy lives on through his 5 children and 13 grandchildren, who remember him for his warmth, wisdom, generous spirit, and unwavering love. Our donation to this playground honors his lifelong commitment to education, service, and creating spaces where children can grow, learn, and thrive—just as he always hoped they would.

“Part of the mission of Includ(Ed) is to reimagine the spaces we build for our children and make them available to all. I dream of a playground where all kids can imagine, laugh, and learn not from the sidelines but in the heart of the action together.”
