Music Therapist

MT-BC

My name is Caitlin Dotson. I’m so happy to be joining the Includ(Ed) San Diego team as your new music therapist, and I can’t wait to get to know this community. I’ve spent the last six years working as a music therapist in public schools, nursing facilities, group homes, and nonprofits—spaces that have shaped my deep belief in music’s power to heal, connect, and uplift. I’m also wrapping up my master’s degree in psychology this August, a journey that has only deepened my passion for creative therapeutic care. I’m primarily a vocalist, but I also love incorporating guitar, piano, and percussion into my work, showing up for each person as a whole human being. Beyond the therapy room, I’m a huge Disney fan, I love the beach, and I spend a lot of my free time writing and producing music. I recently moved from the DMV area to San Diego in May, and I am already falling in love with this city!
