Includ(Ed) San Diego is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your gifts directly support our inclusive early-childhood programs, therapy services, and foundation work. This policy explains how donations are processed, acknowledged, and refunded.
Donations are processed securely by our third-party platform, Givebutter. We never see or store your full payment card details.
Tax deductibility
Includ(Ed) San Diego is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records. We do not provide tax advice — please consult your own advisor regarding your specific situation.
Recurring donations
If you set up a recurring gift, your chosen amount will be charged on a regular schedule until you cancel. You can manage or cancel a recurring donation at any time through the Givebutter donor portal (using the links in your receipt emails) or by contacting us at info@includedsd.org and we will help.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. However, we understand mistakes happen. If you made a donation in error — for example, a duplicate gift, an incorrect amount, or an unintended recurring charge — please contact us:
- Email us at the address below with your name, the approximate date, and the amount.
- Requests made within 30 days of the transaction are easiest to resolve.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Givebutter.
We will review each request in good faith and in accordance with applicable law and Givebutter's processing policies.
Use of donations
Unless you specify otherwise, donations are used where the need is greatest in support of our mission. We are committed to using gifts responsibly and transparently. If you would like your gift directed to a specific program, please note that when you give or contact us.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell or trade donor information. How we handle the information associated with your donation is described in our Privacy Policy.
